1 lb fresh jumbo shrimp, washed and deveined leaving with tails on, about 12
4 cloves garlic, minced
6 tbsp unsalted butter,
Grated rind from one large lemon
Juice from one large lemon
1/4 tsp salt
4 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
Thin lemon slices or wedges to garnish
In a large skillet pan over medium heat, melt butter and add garlic. Cook garlic for about 1 minute stirring frequently so garlic doesn't burn. Evenly distributed shrimp in pan single layer. Saute 2 minutes and then turn shrimp over and saute about 2 minutes. Add salt, lemon rind, lemon joiuce and chopped parsely. Cook for additionla 1 minute or until shrimp turns opaque. Remove from heat.
Using a slooted spoon, remove shhrinp from pan to a small platter and pour teh butter micture over shrimp. Garnish with thin lemon slices or wedges. Serve immediatly.
